Entries are now invited for this year’s mixed ability tournaments:
- Women’s Doubles mixed ability tournament
- Men’s Doubles mixed ability tournament
- Mixed Doubles mixed ability tournament
All standards very welcome. The purpose of this competition is to get everyone from first team players to novices competing on a level and fun basis!
Matches are best of 3 sets with sudden death at deuce – the receiving team decides who receives the sudden death serve.
Sudden death at 5 games all, therefore sets can go no longer than 6-5.
For all three tournaments, entries will be drawn out of the hat. This means you do not need to worry about finding a partner. All you have to do is enter and Lady Luck will take care of the right partner for you!
The closing date for entries is Thursday 8th February. Please put your name on the list in the clubhouse or alternatively email Anita at west_anita@hotmail.com to confirm which events you wish to play in.
Timescales
Please note – the competition this year will operate on a straight knock out basis. If there are 16 or more entries into any competition then a plate competition will also be run.
Finals day will be on Sunday 21 st April.
Please be available to play on finals day when entering the tournament. The ladies and men’s finals will take place at 1pm and the mixed final will start at the conclusion of the men’s and ladies finals.
Entry Fees
The entry fee is £4 per event or £7 if you enter two events (juniors £1 and £1.50).
This can be paid direct into the main club account or sent to Anita.
