A vibrant club in Bromley, steeped in history and with a list of tennis successes
The club was founded in 1906 and has been on its present site in Bromley since 1907 (over 100 years). The first court surface was grass and these were converted to shale in 1937 and to macadam in 1989. Since the early ’80’s a number of developments have occurred, including the addition of two courts, floodlights installed on 4 courts, and latterly, two courts resurfaced in clay.
Today, the club has 5 tarmacadam courts (two floodlit) and 2 artificial clay courts (both floodlit) allowing us to play competitive matches (Kent, North Kent and National Club League) as well as provide great social tennis and club tournaments all year round.
We have a fully equipped clubhouse that includes a licensed bar, men’s and women’s changing rooms, showers and free WiFi. Our gated grounds are fully enclosed and are a safe environment in which children can play. We are an LTA registered club and fully compliant with LTA regulations, health and safety, child protection, insurance and licensing requirements. We have been awarded Tennismark status in recognition of our standards and practices.
